Genesis

PM SHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya Banswara started operating in 1988 for Classes I to V in a temporary building. Later in 2009 the school was moved to its own newly constructed building.

The new building is situated on Udaipur Road, near Pratap Circle, Banswara, about 2 km from the bus stand. It is a single-section school up to Grade XII, with science, arts, and commerce groups offered in Grade XI. The total student strength is over 500.
